A plug and play website company offers inexpensive websites, however these pre-designed sites are proprietary. You don’t own your website. Your site will look like many others in style and design and they are incredibly restrictive on your access and control. The sites are old and do not respond correctly on mobile devices. In 1998, I began a career in cellular phone sales. Cell phones were just used to make and receive calls. With the invention of the Blackberry, texting started to trend. A tool designed for the hard of hearing, began to mainstream. I was fascinated by the technology and the idea that this information was encrypted and could not be intercepted. Remarkable.

Throughout my 15 years in this industry, a simple cell phone became a small computer that made phone calls. It is truly remarkable to see a computer requiring an entire room to operate, progress into a handheld device with the same capabilities of connecting to the Internet.
